The Design – a holistic approach.

We employ advanced design tools, including powerful computer assisted design packages, to ensure that you make the best possible choice, be it the physical shape and arrangement of your new kitchen as well as the actual appearance of the doors, drawers and worktops.  And we don’t just look at the kitchen units but the whole room – windows, doorways, electrical and plumbing services, lighting, heating, flooring, décor.  It’s all important in ensuring that you get the best product and, above all, that you are a happy, satisfied customer.

 

The Product – high quality, excellent value, huge choice!

Working with established, reliable suppliers we have a very wide range of products.  We are absolutely certain that we can find a kitchen for every home, whatever the budget, from flat-pack through to our speciality – bespoke, custom manufactured kitchens view details produced for you and you alone.  The same applies for worktops view details, appliances view details and accessories – from the purely functional to a breathtaking piece of modern art, we can make it happen.

 

The Installation – the vital ingredient.

The installation of any new kitchen is absolutely critical, whether you eventually work with us at Tailormade Kitchens or go elsewhere, and this is where we feel we can make a difference.  Quite simply, it is better to have an inexpensive kitchen professionally installed than have the most elaborate doors and exotic worktops poorly fitted.  That inexpensive but professionally fitted kitchen will look and perform well on day 1 but crucially it will keep looking and performing well on day 365 and beyond; in other words a good investment and a joy to use.  The exotic but poorly fitted kitchen might look good on day 1 but the chances are that it will be a constant source of frustration in the future – certainly not a joy to use and a very poor investment for your hard-earned money.  So how does Tailormade Kitchens make that difference?

 

Joinery – the bulk of the installation. 

Our team has experienced, time-served joiners who will ensure the best possible standard of installation – we don’t cut corners and we fit our kitchens to last.  From walls not flat or true, corners not square or a slope on your floor we will ensure a beautiful and long lasting solution.  It also means that any other interior work you may have will be done to the highest standards, such as altering the side a door hinges on, widening the arch to the dining room or laying that solid wood floor.

 

Plumbing – water and gas. 

We only use CORGI qualified plumbers so that you know that the highest standards of workmanship and above all safety are there.  As of September 2008 British Gas believe that in excess of 20,000 unqualified gas installers are working in the UK.  Don’t compromise your safety – we won’t.

 

Electrical – cookers, sockets, lighting. 

One of the major causes of fires at home is poor quality electrical wiring.  The electricians we use are all registered with professional bodies such as SELECT or NICEIC, again ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and safety for you and your family.
